Haiphong city of Viet Nam: Investing and developing infrastructure to help port city connect business and welcome international investors.
Many bridges and roads have been constructed in 2016 and 2017. This is important for the development of Haiphong, giving advantages for the port city to continue to reach further.
New bridges:
In the begin of the year 2017, Hoang Van Thu bridge crossed the Cam River, it connects Minh Khai ward (Hong Bang district) with Tan Duong commune (Thuy Nguyen district), bridge length is more than 1.5 km was started construction by Hai Phong city. This is a special traffic project with a total investment about VND 2,176 billion. According to the design, Hoang Van Thu bridge shaped as "bird seagulls", the steel pipe arch bridge stuffed concrete. This design makes a difference with other bridges across the Cam River such as Binh Bridge, Nguyen Trai Bridge, Bach Dang bridge ...

Before that, in the Lunar New Year 2017, Hai Phong officially opened /welcome the bridge crossing the crossroads steel dome (Le Hong Phong street) the first bridge with the material and technology as above of the city is to be reached. This bridge is in use after 8 months of construction. The bridge has the most modern design and technology. Bridge shaped like a dome with steel pipes up to 99 m. The layout of the lighting system, LEDs are very artistic. It has created the convenience, safety of traffic and create the sparkle of the most beautiful road in Hai Phong.

But the most impressive is the longest sea-crossing bridge in Southeast Asia (Tan Vu - Lach Huyen bridge). This bridge has also completed the last stages, promises to bring significant value and tremendous benefits for the Hai Phong city and the northern provinces.

The flyover at the intersection at Nguyen Binh Khiem - Dinh Vu was started in March 2017. The bridge consists of 7 spans of 35 m, the total length of the bridge is 252.2 m, the width of 18.5 m, the upper section of the structure uses hollow concrete slabs core prestressed reinforced continuously. The bridge was completed in November 2017.

Han bridge and Dang bridge were also started in May 2017. The bridge is the dream of the farmers, the connection between two purely agricultural districts with many agricultural products has a trademark (Tien Lang and Vinh Bao district) will improve the quality of life of people, as well as socio-economic development. At the same time, shorten the distance from the inner city of Hai Phong to Vinh Bao, Tien Lang and to the coastal district of Thai Binh. The bridge will also contribute to reducing load and congestion on National Highway 10 and ensuring inter-regional connectivity.

The bridge across the Van Uc River will become the largest bridge with a length of 2 km. With dozens of bridges have been and will be built new, Hai Phong is also called "City of Bridges".

In 2017, Hai Phong will implement the construction investment project Hai Phong coastal highway, the overall coastal route from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ninh province. This coastal road is of national stature, the total length of more than 500 km from Thanh Hoa to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh province), the road through 6 provinces and cities are allowed by the Government deployed in each locality. The section of the coastal road running through Hai Phong is 29 km long, connects from Thai Thuy district (Thai Binh) through Tien Lang district, Kien Thuy and Do Son districts. The road crossing Quang Ninh province is the longest (over 250 km). And through the Ninh Binh province is the shortest (9 km).
The Ha Noi - Hai Phong Expressway has proven its worth. From Hanoi to Hai Phong an hour's travel time allows visitors to come and go between the two cities became very close.
